Tell Us About Your Playing Career

I was a player for CLL from 2009-2011, was part of 2013 13U Nationals, a Pickup for 15U Nationals in 2015 and competed at 18U Nationals in 2018. I was a pitcher at Douglas College from 2019-2021 but Covid put a damper on things - turning my passion into coaching!

What Is Your Coaching History?

I have been the Pitching Coach for the Coquitlam Reds in the PBL since 2022, and this year is my first year as Head Coach of the Reds! I am also a instructor and coach at Bullpen Baseball Academy, and have spent summer as a coach of Big League Experience in Oliver.

Why Did You Choose To Join CLL?

I chose to join Coquitlam Little League to help support kids in all levels, rookies to Majors to Seniors, and try to create an environment that they look forward to baseball and grow a stronger passion for the game. It is a goal of mine to build a more connected bridge from the main Little League in the area to funnel kids into the Reds Program down the road.

What Is A Main Goal For The 2026 Year?

My goal in year one as technical director is to have strong competitive postseason teams all the way through. As well as making sure that kids have a positive experience and hope to keep them interested in baseball, want to continue to develop through the programs we have to offer!

Introducing Josh Visser - Blastball Coordinator

Please welcome to the CLL Family our Blastball Coordinator Josh Visser. Josh is a local educator and product of the Tri-Cities baseball organization. He was commonly known as “The Lefty” on his teams growing up. He likes to spend his time getting outside with his dog Pippin as much as possible and learning new recipes. Josh still pitchers for the Vancouver Legends of the VRBL, and he is excited for the opportunity to connect with youth and inspire the next generation of young plyers through skill development and creating lasting memories!
